Where the margin was hiding
Banh mi, grandma's pho and rice bowls flying out the door, and margins that were not matching the hustle. Third-party fees were eating the profit, vendor prices were creeping, and hours every week went to invoices and bookkeeping.
On Garde, payouts are reconciled to the order and every invoice is line-itemed. In the first two months that found more than $15,000 and gave back half the admin hours. For a single-unit fast-casual restaurant, that is the difference between surviving and thriving.
