The restaurant

Authentic Vietnamese flavors with a modern twist

That is how the team describes it, and the room agrees. Daytime is a cafe with fruit-infused matcha lattes and banh mi over the counter. After dark it turns into one of Myrtle Avenue's late-night rooms, with DJ sessions, themed parties and holiday nights.

Little Mo is owned by Raymond Sun, Garde Holdings' President, which is how it became the first restaurant in the portfolio. It is also the clearest example we have of what the back office finds when it is actually reading the numbers.

The situation. Little Mo was doing great volume. Banh mi, pho and bowls flying out the door. But the margins weren't matching the hustle. Third-party delivery fees were eating into profits, vendor costs were unchecked, and hours every week went to manual bookkeeping and invoice chasing.

What Garde did. Garde automated the daily sales journal entries and reconciled DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub payouts against orders, catching commission discrepancies that had gone unnoticed. Vendor price creep on key ingredients was flagged, and invoice processing was taken over entirely.

The result. Over $15,000 in identified savings within the first two months, and more than half the weekly admin hours given back. For a single-unit fast-casual restaurant, that is the difference between surviving and thriving.

It is also why Little Mo was the first restaurant Holdings took on. We already knew the numbers, and we already knew the people.

"Garde found savings we didn't know existed and cut our bookkeeping time in half. It felt like having a full-time CFO for a fraction of the cost."
